By eliminating the need to exhaust fluid from behind the apply piston, the converter achieves faster and more efficient lockup engagement. Compared to a factory converter, this design delivers quicker response and improved efficiency under load. A custom stator provides an additional 200 to 300 RPM of stall speed, improving turbo spool without compromising towing capability.
