Keep Your Diesel Dialed In From The Driver Seat

If you run a diesel, you already know the factory dash only tells you a fraction of what is going on under the hood. The Edge 84140-4 Insight+ CTS4 puts that missing information in front of you on a 5.5 inch touchscreen, and it supports 1994-2019 Ford Powerstroke, 2003-2012 Dodge Cummins, and 2001-2016 GM Duramax trucks. You can watch EGT, regen cycles, transmission temperature, and boost while you tow, so you catch a problem before it turns into a repair bill. Swipe between screens set up for towing, performance, or economy depending on what the day calls for. What separates the Insight+ from a standard monitor is the preloaded VIN specific Custom Tune License, which lets you load and manage tunes from your preferred custom tuner without adding more hardware. Tuning is not included, so calibrations are purchased separately from your custom calibration shop. It also reads and clears trouble codes, which takes a lot of the mystery out of a check engine light on a back road. With more than 25 years of Edge diesel tuning experience behind it, this is a strong hub for an owner who wants monitoring, diagnostics, and tuning in one device.

A Smarter Platform Behind The Touchscreen

The Insight+ runs on the new CTS4 platform, which Edge describes as smarter and faster than earlier units, and it installs by plugging into the OBDII port with no wiring required. The display is a high resolution 5.5 inch touchscreen with customizable gauge layouts, so the data you care about most stays front and center. A built-in performance meter measures 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times, while the integrated data logger records your runs and offers export capability. The spec sheet also lists 5 volt data logging inputs, alerts and records, and compatibility with Edge's expandable external sensor kits. When you want to tune, the Insight+ can back up your vehicle and flash custom calibrations from approved third party tuners. Wi-Fi updating keeps the unit current with the latest available updates. A windshield mounting bracket is included, and optional display mounts are available for select applications. Supported engines are the 1994-2003 7.3L, 2003-2007 6.0L, 2008-2010 6.4L, and 2011-2019 6.7L Powerstroke, the 2003-2012 Cummins, and the 2001-2016 GM Duramax.
