Faster Processor, Bigger Screen, And An Upgrade Path Built Into The CTS4 Platform

The Edge 84130-4 Insight CTS4 is an in cab digital gauge monitor that connects to the vehicle's OBD II port. It uses a 1.7GHz dual core 64 bit processor, which Edge rates at 3.4 times the processing power of the CTS3, along with 2GB of RAM, a 300 percent increase. Edge lists the memory as 3400MHz LPDDR4 and says it delivers up to 325 percent faster memory speed. Edge also reports 50 percent less set up time, 70 percent faster cold boot up, and 50 percent faster PID changes. The display is a 5.5 inch high resolution color touchscreen with a 60 FPS refresh rate and an auto dimming screen. On the software side, the CTS4 offers configurable gauges, multiple layouts, custom alerts and warnings, data logging, performance tests, and the ability to check and clear diagnostic trouble codes. It has 5 volt data logging inputs and works with Edge's Expandable Accessory System, including EGT probes, pressure and temperature sensors, and a backup camera kit. Wi-Fi supports internet updates, including upgrades to the Evolution CTS4 for emissions friendly tuning or to the Insight+ CTS4 for vehicle specific custom tuning.
