Put An End To The Wandering Feel You Get Once The Tires Get Bigger

Ford's factory steering on the Super Duty is better than most, but it still has room to improve once you add larger tires, rough terrain, or a heavy trailer. The Synergy Heavy Duty Drag Link was built to close that gap on your 2005 and newer F-250 or F-350 as a true bolt in replacement. It is made from premium USA made DOM steel tubing, which Synergy designed to handle the extra loads that come with bigger tires, towing, and everyday driving. The tie rod ends are metal on metal, so there is no nylon liner to wear out, and they are fully greaseable to hold up under hard use. At the axle end, a single plane tie rod end eliminates the drag link flop that many owners know well, which gives you smoother steering input and a tighter, more responsive feel at the wheel. Synergy's double adjuster sleeve lets you set the length while the drag link stays on the truck, and the pinch bolt design removes jam nuts that can loosen and let your alignment creep. Because it keeps your factory steering stabilizer, you get the upgrade without having to replace anything else. For a Super Duty that works hard and deserves steering to match, this drag link is a practical upgrade that you will notice as soon as you drive it.

Metal On Metal Ends, Forged Pinch Bolt Housings, And A Bend Where Your Axle Needs It

Synergy builds the drag link from 1.5 inch by .250 wall 1026 DOM tubing made in the USA, and it bends the tube precisely to clear the factory axle brackets and the sway bar. That bend prevents contact, knocking, and interference at full suspension travel, and it works from a stock ride height up to 4 inches of lift. The drag link finishes in a two stage abrasion resistant powder coat for durability and corrosion resistance. Each metal on metal tie rod end has a 4140 steel shank and a 1018 steel bearing housing, and it is capped with a heavy duty nitrile butadiene rubber boot held by a retaining spring. Forged pinch bolt housings and a complete welded assembly seal the drag link from the elements. Length is adjustable from 42.625 inches collapsed to 45 inches extended, measured from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole. The mounting location is machined to retain the factory stabilizer, and it also works with most aftermarket stabilizers that use 1/2 inch mounting bolts, when paired with the Synergy stabilizer stud 8600-00 or clamp 4050-50. The kit includes one heavy duty drag link and one pinch bolt hardware kit, and it installs with basic hand tools.

Fitment: 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026 Ford F250/F350 Super Duty, compatible with factory ride height up to 4" of lift

Notes:

  • Compatible on vehicles with up to 4" of ride height, vehicles over 4" require a drop pitman arm for proper fitment
  • Retains the factory steering stabilizer, and works with most aftermarket stabilizers that use 1/2" mounting bolts when paired with Synergy stabilizer stud 8600-00 or stabilizer clamp 4050-50
  • Some trucks have clearance challenges with aftermarket components and the radiator hose routing, Synergy recommends relocating the steering stabilizer to the tie rod (axle side) with part number 8603-02
  • Recommended with the Synergy heat treated chromoly tie rod, part number 8602-11, and backwards compatible with the stock tie rod
  • Includes one heavy duty drag link and one pinch bolt hardware kit
  • Adjustable length from 42.625" collapsed to 45" extended, measured in a straight line from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole
  • Replacement tie rod ends are available, driver side 4152-L and passenger side 4153-L
  • Synergy recommends high performance grease, part number 4119, on all tie rod ends, and copper infused anti-seize, part number 4118, on all threaded components
  • Component of Synergy's complete Ford Super Duty Steering Kit, part number 8625-XX
  • California Proposition 65 warning applies to this product
