LB7 Stage 2 CNC Ported Cylinder Heads

(This is currently our maximum effort cylinder head offering)

These are CNC Ported in house using the latest in simultaneous 5 axis Cad/Cam technology. We have over 30 years of cylinder head manufacturing and porting experience. We have worked with many of the top teams in NASCAR, NHRA and INDYCAR.

• Send us your complete cylinder heads and we will perform the following and reassemble with your valves.
• Cylinder heads are cleaned and disassembled.
• Cylinder heads are hardness checked.
• Cylinder heads are pressure checked to 60 psi.
• Complete simultaneous 5 axis CNC porting of all ports and bowls guarantees repeatability port to port every time. Hand grinding this type of cylinder head and expecting repeatable results is an exercise in futility. You may get one or two good bowls or ports but let's face facts, humans get tired, CNC machines don't!
• Install 32 SoCal Diesel Bronze valve guides. Diamond honed for proper valve to guide clearance.
• All 32 Valve seats are removed and oversize seats are installed to accomodate the oversize valves.
• Precision 5 angle valve job. We maintain the factory measurement spec from the deck to the valve.
• Flow increases of 75 CFM on both intake and exhaust ports.
• Cylinder heads are presure checked at 60 psi once again after porting.
• 34mm Stainless intake valves. (1mm overszie)
• 33mm Inconel exhaust valves. (2mm oversize)
• 32 SoCal Diesel hardened O.D. spring cup bases.
• 32 Chrome Moly Beehive retainers, specifically made for SoCal Diesel.
• 32 New Beehive "Ovate" wire valve springs. We designed these springs specifically for the performance needs of a Duramax. They are made specifically for SoCal Diesel and are not available from anyone else.
• 32 new valve stem seals.

Prior to assembly the cylinder head deck, intake and exhaust surfaces are given a clean up cut to insure flatness.
