Features:
If your GM truck doesn’t feel like it’s pulling its weight the way it should, there’s a good chance the factory AFM or DFM system is holding it back. The Range Technology RA003R AFM/DFM Disabler steps in to fix that, keeping your V6 or V8 engine firing on all cylinders, all the time. This means smoother acceleration, better throttle response, and a truck that feels like it’s finally running at its full potential. Whether you're hauling gear, towing a trailer, or just want a better driving experience around town, this plug-and-play device makes a real difference. It also disables that annoying Auto Start/Stop feature, so your engine stays on until you say otherwise. Best of all, it installs in seconds with no tools and doesn’t mess with your factory ECU, so your warranty stays intact. And when you’re ready to return things to stock, just unplug the unit and you’re back to factory settings.
The RA003R disabler is built around Range Technology’s patented solution that prevents both Active and Dynamic Fuel Management systems from dropping cylinders during operation. It works through the OBD-II port without reprogramming the vehicle’s ECU, which helps preserve long-term reliability and avoids factory warranty complications. Once connected, it instantly locks your engine into full-cylinder mode, delivering consistent power without the unpredictable shifts between four and eight cylinders. This unit is fully compatible with most 2020–2024 Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks running 5.3L or 6.2L V8 engines, as well as select V6 models. It also shuts off the Auto Start/Stop function, something many drivers find frustrating in everyday traffic. The red LED light is purely cosmetic and makes no difference in performance. For best results, the disabler should be unplugged if the vehicle is going to sit for several days, as it may draw power from the battery. This product is made in the USA and is currently legal for on-road use in states that follow EPA’s Tampering Policy, but is not yet legal in California.
