The OEM shocks on the 2011-2024 GM 2500HD/3500HD unfortunately leave a lot to be desired, especially off-road. Rancho has engineered their RS7MT Monotube Shock Absorbers to elevate capability and comfort in both on and off-road environments. The shocks dissipate heat extremely effectively, to deliver consistent dampening with less shock fade than OEM shocks. This excellent heat dissipation makes them effective at handling large off-road tires in extreme off-road situations. These shock absorbers are specifically engineered to enhance the ride quality of your GM truck. They provide a smoother driving experience over the OEM shocks that remains highly responsive to varying road conditions. Equipped internally with rebound bumpers and shouldered rubber bushings, they operate quietly, minimize vibrations, and reduce ride harshness.

Heavy-Duty Long-Lasting Construction

Rancho engineered their RS7MT Suspension Shock Absorbers to handle even the harshest conditions. Created with a 14mm hardened chrome piston rod that resists scuffs and corrosion, double-welded loops in high stress areas and double strength closure method, ensuring the shocks can handle tough off-road conditions. Using an intelligent sealing system with an integrated dirt wiper keeps out damaging moisture, dirt and debris from being ingested into the shock. The large 2-inch thick monotube body uses all-weather fluid to prevent dampening performance loss due to overheating or freezing. A full-floating piston with high pressure nitrogen is used in the shock to maintain constant pressure to reduce aeration, shock fade and ensure consistent dampening.
