PPE designed this transmission pan to improve cooling efficiency while reinforcing the overall strength of the transmission assembly. Precision casting with permanent steel molds creates excellent dimensional accuracy for a dependable fit with the factory gasket and filter. Deep internal baffles increase contact between the transmission fluid and the aluminum housing, allowing heat to transfer more efficiently while reducing fluid movement during acceleration, braking, and uneven terrain. Additionally, the external cooling fins and internal baffles combine to create a reinforced cross bracing structure that improves rigidity and impact resistance. Cast in gussets provide additional support around the transmission housing flange, helping strengthen the entire assembly under demanding conditions. The 304 stainless steel drain plug includes a high temperature rated neodymium magnet that captures ferrous metal particles before they continue circulating through the transmission. A built in 1/8 inch NPT port with a pre installed plug also gives you the flexibility to add compatible monitoring equipment as your truck build evolves.
