Each PPE Performance Silicone Hose is reinforced with five plies of Nomex fibers, making them exceptionally durable. The fluorocarbon lining provides enhanced lubricity and chemical resistance, while the silicone rubber construction ensures they can withstand constant boost pressures and temperatures ranging from -76 to +437 degrees Fahrenheit. PPE silicone maintains structural integrity under high boost pressures across this temperature range. Simply put, PPE Performance Silicone Hoses are far less likely to blow out compared to stock hoses.
