Additionally, the internal baffles and external cooling fins create a reinforced cross bracing structure that increases rigidity and improves resistance to impacts. The integrated standpipe allows accurate fluid level checks during servicing, making fluid changes more straightforward and helping maintain proper transmission operation. A 304 stainless steel drain plug with a high temperature rated neodymium magnet captures ferrous metal particles that could otherwise continue circulating through the transmission.
