Right from the start, the added 1.8 quarts of fluid capacity gives your transmission more room to stay cool, especially during towing or long highway pulls. Additionally, the deep external fins do more than just look aggressive, they actively pull heat out of the fluid while adding real strength to the pan itself. The raw aluminum finish gives you the flexibility to leave it as is or customize it to match your build, which is a nice touch if you care about the details. What’s more, the internal design helps keep fluid stable and properly distributed, so you are not dealing with inconsistent performance when conditions change. The magnetic drain plug works in the background by collecting harmful debris, which helps protect internal components over time. Paired with the included spin-on filter, this setup gives you better filtration and more confidence every time you put your truck to work.

Focused On Heat Control And Structural Integrity

This transmission pan is built using A356.0-T6 heat-treated cast aluminum, a material known for its strength and ability to transfer heat efficiently. The precision casting process ensures accurate fitment and a smooth sealing surface, which helps reduce the chances of leaks during installation and long-term use. Inside the pan, deep internal baffles are strategically placed to increase fluid contact with the aluminum surface, improving heat transfer while also minimizing fluid movement during acceleration or uneven terrain. This helps maintain consistent fluid pickup, which is critical for stable transmission operation. Additionally, the external fins and internal baffles work together to create a rigid cross-bracing structure that strengthens the entire pan and improves impact resistance. Cast-in gussets provide extra reinforcement along the flange, helping the pan maintain its shape under stress. The stainless steel drain plug includes a high-temperature neodymium magnet and a Viton O-ring, offering both secure sealing and added protection from metal contaminants. Combined with the MicroPure spin-on filter, this system supports cleaner fluid and more efficient transmission performance over time.
