The PPE 128052420 transmission pan is constructed from A356.0-T6 heat-treated cast aluminum, offering both strength and excellent thermal conductivity. This material allows heat to transfer away from the fluid more efficiently than a factory stamped steel pan. Inside the pan, deep internal baffles increase fluid contact with the aluminum surface, improving heat absorption while also reducing fluid sloshing during acceleration or uneven terrain. At the same time, the tall external cooling fins expand surface area and promote airflow, further enhancing heat dissipation. These internal and external elements work together to create a rigid cross-braced structure that improves strength and impact resistance. The included stainless steel service plugs feature high-temperature Neodymium magnets that capture metal particles, helping protect internal components from wear.
