High Efficiency Filter

PPE designed their Premium High-Efficiency Engine Oil Filter to offer a massive upgrade in filtration and sealing capabilities compared to the OEM filter. The OEM filter comes up short only offering 259 square inches of 25-micron filtration capability, compared to PPE's much improved 330 square inches with filtration down to 5 microns. The existing filter's bypass valve also does not offer a seal of any kind. The bypass valve on PPE's filter has a stiffer spring and a rubber seal to prevent leaks. Enhanced Filtration

PPE's Premium High-Efficiency Engine Oil Filter is built with a perforated metal center core to provide media support. A perforated metal center core and spiral-wrapped adhesive provides media support, preventing collapse. This filter also includes a high-power magnet to catch ferrous metal debris, preventing them from circulating or clogging the filter paper. The silicone anti-drain-back valve also prevents harsh engine dry starts. The base plate is made thicker to accommodate increased oil pressures in high-performance applications.
