Morimoto LF2-DRVSC28 XB EVO Supercharged Drivers tap into the additional capability of compatible XB Evo and XB Evo Hybrid headlights, increasing output by approximately 30 to 50 percent. Both the low and high beams gain intensity, giving you more usable light when exploring trails, crossing open terrain, or working after dark on private property. The drivers replace the standard units on the back of the headlight housings, so getting that extra performance does not require rebuilding or modifying the projectors themselves. Morimoto designed the upgrade to operate within the range the LEDs can safely handle, allowing you to gain additional output without compromising headlight reliability or warranty coverage. Additionally, XB Evo Hybrid owners get an extra visual upgrade because installing these drivers activates the welcome sequence in the projectors and DRL optics. The LF2-DRVSC28 drivers work by replacing the standard Morimoto LED drivers that intentionally limit projector output to maintain compliant intensity levels. Once installed, the Supercharged drivers supply the compatible lighting system with enough additional power to produce an approximate 30 to 50 percent increase in both low and high beam intensity. Installation takes place directly at the rear of the headlight housings using the existing multi pin connection, making the upgrade a straightforward part of installing or servicing your headlights. Three colored indicator lights also provide useful diagnostic information, with red confirming DRL power, green identifying low beam power, and blue identifying high beam power. This setup makes it easier to verify that the appropriate circuits are receiving power without immediately pulling the lighting system apart to investigate. Compatibility is limited to Morimoto LF2-508, LF2-508R, and LF2-508Y headlight assemblies, so confirming your headlight part number before ordering is important. Each package includes a pair of Supercharged LED drivers along with six screws and a packet of grease, giving you the necessary components for the installation. Because installing these drivers creates noncompliant peak beam intensity, returning the headlights to compliant output requires reinstalling the original standard drivers.
