These large body shocks are engineered to deliver the significant damping force required by the factory torsion bar setup, resulting in improved stability and ride quality. The external reservoirs increase oil capacity and help dissipate heat, allowing for more consistent damping during extended off road use or heavy hauling. Furthermore, the system includes tubular upper control arms equipped with ICON’s patent pending Delta Joint. This high angle ball joint combines the articulation of a uniball with the sealed durability of a traditional ball joint, making it ideal for daily driven heavy duty trucks. A zinc plated housing and grease seal provide corrosion resistance and protection from the elements, while the metal on metal and greasable design supports long service life and quiet operation.
