Matched Shock Tuning Brings The Chassis Together

The K73001 Stage 1 system combines 2.5 inch front coilovers with 2.0 inch rear monotube shocks to improve damping and suspension control across 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 applications. Each front coilover uses an internal reservoir that supports effective cooling while keeping the assembly compact, and ride height can be adjusted from one to three inches above stock. ICON engineered Eibach coil springs are paired with vehicle specific shock valving so spring movement and damping work together throughout the available travel. The coilovers incorporate corrosion resistant plated shock bodies with substantial 7/8 inch shafts, along with CNC machined 6061 aluminum components and high strength alloy lower bar pins. FK rod end bearings minimize deflection while providing the durability required for repeated suspension movement, and the shocks are fully serviceable for long term maintenance. At the rear, Aluminum Series internal floating piston shocks use 5/8 inch shafts and application specific valving to complement the behavior of the upgraded front suspension. Compatible with both 2WD and 4WD trucks, the system provides a focused suspension upgrade for owners who want adjustable ride height and improved damping without moving to a more complex suspension package.
