Dual rate front coil springs work with ICON 2.5 inch Aluminum Series shocks to smooth out rough pavement and give the suspension more control when the road gets uneven. With 50 percent more wheel travel and 4.5 inches of additional travel between ride height and the front bump stops, the truck has more room to absorb bumps before the suspension reaches its limits. The front uses dual rate coil springs paired with 2.5 inch Aluminum Series shocks that feature one piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and consistent construction. Radius arm drop brackets reposition the factory radius arms for the increased ride height, while ICON's adjustable track bar helps restore proper front axle alignment beneath the truck. At the rear, a 5 inch block kit and 17 inch U bolts provide the necessary lift to complement the raised front suspension. The 2.5 inch front and rear shocks provide increased damping capacity compared to the smaller shock package used on the entry level system, and they are fully serviceable for future maintenance. Installation is completely bolt on with no drilling, cutting, or welding required, and no driveshaft modifications are needed on the intended diesel application. With matched suspension components working together from front to rear, the Stage 2 system delivers a more complete approach to lift height, wheel travel, alignment, and ride control.
