Approximately 25 percent more front wheel travel gives the suspension additional room to absorb bumps, ruts, and uneven job site roads before that movement reaches the cab. The recommended 35 by 12.50 inch tire size also gives you room to build a more capable setup without going to the height of a larger suspension lift. Piggyback reservoir shocks are especially valuable during spirited off road driving, where additional fluid capacity helps manage heat and maintain consistent damping through repeated suspension movement. Dual rate front coil springs establish 2.5 inches of lift, while alignment cams help achieve the proper suspension alignment after the change in ride height. ICON 2.5 inch Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir shocks are used at all four corners and receive vehicle specific tuning to deliver controlled damping across a broad range of driving conditions. Their one piece impact extruded aluminum bodies provide corrosion resistance, while substantial 7/8 inch shafts contribute strength for demanding suspension use. The shocks are fully rebuildable and revalvable, which gives owners a serviceable platform that can be maintained or retuned as the truck's needs evolve. An adjustable track bar helps properly position the front axle beneath the truck, and FK rod end bearings provide low deflection and dependable articulation at this critical suspension connection.
