Built To Keep Suspension Geometry Working Properly

The ICON Stage 5 system goes well beyond springs and shocks by addressing the suspension and steering geometry affected when a 2009-2012 Ram 2500 or 3500 4WD is raised 4.5 inches. ICON dual rate front coil springs work with matched 2.5 inch Aluminum Series shocks featuring CDCV compression adjustment, giving the driver control over damping while providing consistent performance as conditions change. These shocks use one piece impact extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and 7/8 inch shafts for strength, and they are fully serviceable for long term use. Tubular steel upper and lower link arms improve strength and alignment range while reducing the suspension bind associated with the factory link bushings. An adjustable track bar equipped with PTFE lined FK bearings adds rigidity and allows the front axle to be properly centered beneath the truck after lifting. ICON also includes a forged pitman arm, track bar drop bracket, sway bar drop brackets, bump stops with billet extensions, and the necessary rear lift components to keep the complete suspension working together through its travel.
