The ICON K214502T Stage 3 Lift Kit gives 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 4WD trucks 4.5 inches of lift while bringing the suspension upgrades needed to make that added height useful. Dual rate coil springs work with matched ICON 2.5 Aluminum Series reservoir shocks to provide a smoother highway feel while maintaining control across dirt roads and rough job sites. Heavy duty steel upper and lower links add strength while reducing the bind found in the factory link bushings, allowing the suspension to move more freely as conditions get uneven. The system also improves wheel travel and reduces body roll without changing the truck's towing capacity, so you can build a more capable suspension without giving up the utility you rely on. With enough clearance for 35 inch tires without modifications, the kit gives your Ram a noticeably stronger stance and more room underneath for navigating rough terrain. Some 37 inch tires can also be accommodated with minor fender well trimming, giving you additional flexibility when planning a larger tire setup. Best of all, the system requires no driveshaft modifications, helping keep the overall build straightforward while delivering a substantial step up from the factory suspension.

Tuned Components Keep The Lift Working Together

A 4.5 inch lift changes suspension and steering geometry considerably, so the K214502T uses application specific components to keep the front end functioning properly throughout its travel. ICON dual rate coil springs establish the front ride height while steering and track bar correction components address the positioning changes created by the additional lift. Tubular steel upper and lower link arms increase strength and alignment range while reducing factory bushing bind, helping the axle move more naturally through compression and droop. The 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks use reservoirs to increase damping consistency during extended suspension cycling, along with FK bearings, billet top caps and rod ends, and substantial 7/8 inch shafts for added strength. At the rear, 2.5 inch lift blocks and extended U bolts complement the front suspension height and help produce a level front to rear stance. Additionally, the shocks are fully serviceable, giving owners the ability to maintain the damping components instead of treating them as disposable parts. ICON recommends 35 by 12.50 tires for the system, and factory wheels and tires remain compatible for owners who are not ready to change their wheel setup. Depending on the truck's steering configuration, additional pitman arm changes may be necessary, making it important to verify whether the truck uses the 2003-2006 or later steering arrangement before installation.
