Heavy duty steel upper and lower link arms reduce the binding associated with factory link bushings, giving the suspension more freedom to move through its travel. Additionally, the added clearance accommodates 35 inch tires without modifications, while some 37 inch tires can fit with minor fender well trimming. Geometry Matters When The Suspension Gets Taller

The ICON K214501T takes a complete suspension approach by adding the supporting components needed to maintain proper steering geometry throughout the increased travel range. Up front, dual rate coil springs establish the additional lift while polyurethane bumpstops with billet extensions and sway bar drop brackets help accommodate the revised suspension position. A forged pitman arm and track bar drop bracket correctly position critical steering and axle locating components, helping the truck maintain proper function after gaining 4.5 inches of lift. Tubular steel upper and lower link arms add strength while increasing alignment range and reducing the bind found in the original link bushings. ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks provide matched damping, with the additional reservoir capacity helping maintain consistent shock performance during extended use on uneven terrain. At the rear, 2.5 inch lift blocks and U bolts raise the truck to complement the front suspension and create a level overall stance.
