Designed for 2017-2026 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty 4WD trucks with 0 to 1.5 inches of rear lift, this shock brings FOX performance to a straightforward bolt on package. Dual Speed Compression adjustment lets you fine tune compression damping to better suit changing conditions, giving you more control when the truck goes from an unloaded commute to hauling or rough terrain. The remote reservoir provides additional fluid capacity and helps manage heat during demanding use, which is especially valuable on long stretches of uneven terrain. Vehicle specific valving keeps the response matched to the Super Duty platform instead of relying on a generic shock tune. FOX also uses a larger high flow piston to increase bottom out resistance and provide dependable damping when suspension movement becomes more aggressive. The FOX Performance Elite 2.5 Series construction starts with a 2.5 inch impact extruded 6061 T6 aluminum body that is CNC machined and finished with Type III anodizing for lasting protection. Inside, a high flow piston manages fluid efficiently while the vehicle specific valving is tuned to maximize performance on the Super Duty platform. A substantial 7/8 inch hard chrome plated steel shaft provides the strength needed for demanding suspension cycles and heavy truck use. The remote reservoir uses a smooth bore seamless alloy construction and houses the Dual Speed Compression adjuster, allowing separate tuning of compression response for different types of impacts. FOX protects the internals with a redundant sealing system that incorporates a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal to help keep contaminants outside where they belong. The shock measures 18.350 inches compressed and 29.830 inches extended, resulting in 11.480 inches of travel for compatible applications. Eyelet mounts are used at both ends, completing a purpose built package engineered around controlled damping, heat management, and adjustability.
