Designed with FOX’s racing heritage and engineered precision, the 987-24-004 front shock delivers a smooth, predictable ride whether you’re on asphalt or gravel. It features a 2.5-inch CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body that resists corrosion and dissipates heat more efficiently than steel-bodied alternatives. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates the shock oil from high-pressure nitrogen, eliminating cavitation and giving you consistent damping under demanding conditions. A 5/8-inch hard chrome shaft adds long-term durability, resisting pitting and wear even after years of abuse. The HTO piston enhances control by slowing the shock’s extension rate when it's close to full rebound, preventing sudden jolts and reducing stress on your suspension. With 7.19 inches of travel and compatibility for trucks with 0-1.5 inches of front lift, this shock works great with stock setups and mild leveling kits.
