The FOX 980-24-965 Performance Series 2.0 shock features an internal floating piston mono-tube design that separates oil from nitrogen, maintaining consistent damping and eliminating fade in high-demand conditions. Its 2.0 inch body is crafted from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum and treated with a clear anodized finish to resist rust, which makes it ideal for trucks driven through tough climates or wet environments. The high-flow piston, paired with application-specific valving, provides excellent response tailored to the suspension dynamics of GM HD trucks. Inside, FOX uses a redundant sealing pack that includes a main seal, wiper, and scraper to keep the internals protected against dirt and debris. A 5/8 inch chrome-plated steel shaft handles impact with strength and durability, while nitrile rubber bushings reduce noise and allow increased suspension articulation. This shock is designed to bolt in using a bar pin top mount and clevis bottom mount, ensuring a clean and secure fit.
