For those using an aftermarket pump mounted outside the fuel tank, it is necessary to install a draw straw or drill the fuel tank to accommodate a sump. However, these methods have significant drawbacks, such as the ¼ tank issues that can cause pump cavitation when air enters the fuel system. SureFlo performance sending units are specifically designed to work with aftermarket lift pumps and fit directly into your stock sending unit location. They feature factory-style quick disconnects to connect to your stock fuel lines at the tank, ensuring a clean installation without the need for cutting or drilling. SureFlo draws and returns fuel to the bucket assembly at the base of the unit, ensuring continuous fuel supply to the pump and preventing air from entering the fuel system, thereby eliminating the ¼ tank problems. The SureFlo bucket also includes one-way check valves to allow easy fuel flow at lower levels.
