The Fleece Fuel Filter Upgrade Kit is a smart, straightforward solution that swaps out the stock cartridge filter for a more durable and service-friendly spin-on canister style. Designed for 2017–2019 models, and select 2020+ long bed configurations, this kit gives you better filtration, longer intervals between changes, and a cleaner, more efficient layout that makes fuel maintenance a breeze. At the heart of the upgrade is Fleece’s anodized billet aluminum filter base, which is built to bolt right into the stock location using factory-style quick disconnect fittings. No need for custom lines or hacked-together fittings, everything locks in clean and fits like it should. The billet base is also engineered to maintain the correct fuel path across the PTC heating element, so cold weather performance remains fully intact. That means no compromise in winter starts or system function, just better reliability across the board.

Filters Down to 4 Microns

The included Donaldson 4-micron fuel filter and water separator offers a significant step up in filtration compared to the factory unit. It captures smaller particles and provides greater capacity, helping protect sensitive injection components while also giving you more mileage between filter changes. And because it’s a canister-style filter, replacements are quicker, cleaner, and don’t require specialty tools or messy disassembly. Fleece also integrated a 1/8" NPT port into the filter base, giving you the option to easily monitor fuel pressure if you're running a gauge or plan to install one down the line.
