Choose the 87 octane tune for daily driving and economy, or step up to the 91 octane tune for extreme performance and towing. Edge says the vehicle specific tuning delivers noticeable gains in horsepower and torque, along with sharper throttle response and better drivability, though results vary by truck. It also tunes the 8 speed and 10 speed transmissions on supported applications, which Edge says improves shift points, shift feel, and power delivery, all without bench flashing. If you would rather keep your V8 on all eight cylinders, the CTS4 can disable Active Fuel Management and Dynamic Fuel Management on supported applications. The built in monitor puts customizable digital gauges, alerts, and data logging in the cab, so you can see how the truck is responding. Locksmith Unlock, Octane Specific Calibrations, And What Each Software Step Requires

The Edge 85802 is the Evolution CTS4 tuner and monitor for 2019-2022 non refresh Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks with the 5.3L or 6.2L gas V8, and it does not support the 2022.5 and newer refresh trucks. Every kit includes the Edge Locksmith tool, which unlocks the factory ECM and TCM so Edge's pre loaded, emissions friendly calibrations can be installed without removing either module. A PC and Edge's downloadable Update Agent software are required to complete the unlock and tuning process. Adjustable features include tire size recalibration, speed limiter adjustments, and recall of supported Tow/Haul and drive modes, and Active Fuel Management and Dynamic Fuel Management can be disabled on supported applications. The CTS4 monitors supported engine, drivetrain, temperature, and pressure data through customizable digital gauges, with alerts and warnings, data logging with 5 volt inputs, a speedometer, video capability, and the ability to read and clear trouble codes. It works with compatible EAS accessories and camera options, and Wi-Fi supports updates. The device can unlock and tune only one vehicle, and once the VIN lock and ECM unlock are complete it is non returnable.
