When you tow with a 5.9L Cummins, the number that matters most is often your EGT, and older trucks rarely give you a good way to watch it. The Edge Juice with Attitude CTS4 puts that number in front of you, because the kit includes an EGT probe and a fuel pressure sensor that feed the monitor. You also get power you can change on the fly, so you can pull back for the commute and step up with a trailer behind you without stopping to reflash anything. Edge says the Juice has built in safety backdowns that watch critical operating conditions and automatically reduce power when your own limits are reached. You can set a maximum EGT, turn on cold engine defuel to limit added power until the engine warms up, and use a turbo timer to manage cooldown after a hard run. Safety Backdowns, Setpoints, And A Turbo Timer Built Around The Juice Module

The Edge 31500-4 pairs the Juice inline performance module with the Attitude CTS4 digital monitor for 1998.5-2000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 5.9L Cummins. Edge says the kit offers five power levels that you change on the fly from the CTS4, along with an optional Hot Unlock sixth level through an internet update where supported, and it notes that gains vary by model year and application. The included EGT probe lets you set a maximum EGT setpoint, and the included fuel pressure sensor lets you watch fuel pressure on the display. Supported safety backdowns can be enabled or disabled, and each one reduces power when a user defined limit is reached. Other settings include cold engine defuel control, adjustable boost setpoints on supported applications, a turbo timer with EGT based or time based options, and tire size adjustment from 1 to 50 inches. The CTS4 is a color touchscreen with an auto dimming screen, a speedometer, in cab monitoring, 5 volt data logging inputs, alerts and records, performance tests, video capability, and Wi-Fi updates. It can read and clear supported trouble codes, and compatible EAS sensors and camera options expand the system. For VP44 trucks, Edge also lists an optional EAS VP44 Tap Cap, part number 98624, for an easier and cleaner pump wire connection.
