The V3 strategy works on four things at once, injection pulse width, injection timing, fuel rail pressure, and airflow, and Edge says it adds 50 percent more power than the original Pulsar. You choose from five power levels with the cruise control buttons on your steering wheel, so you can change them while you drive without ever touching a screen. A built in throttle sensitivity booster sharpens the pedal, and safety features like EGT backdown, transmission slip backdown, and cold engine protection help keep the truck within safe limits. This kit adds the Insight CTS4, a color touchscreen monitor, so you can watch what the truck is doing from the cab. The Edge 22601-4 pairs the Pulsar V3 inline module with the Insight CTS4 in cab monitor for 2020-2023 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax L5P. The Pulsar connects directly to the truck's PCM through factory connectors, and Edge says it uses live data to adapt its signals, so the truck needs no ECM flash. The V3 strategy adjusts injection pulse width, injection timing, fuel rail pressure, and airflow, and the module has five power levels that you switch with the plus and minus cruise control buttons. Its built in features include a throttle sensitivity booster, adjustments for tire size and gear ratio, and a high idle setting. Safety features include EGT backdown, set at 1500 degrees in the Pulsar, transmission slip backdown that reduces power when clutch slip is detected, gear change backdown, and cold engine protection. The Insight CTS4 is a color touchscreen monitor with in cab monitoring, data logging with 5 volt inputs, a speedometer, video capability, and the ability to erase fault codes. It supports Wi-Fi updates, and Edge says updates for the Pulsar are managed through the Insight, so you do not need a computer. The kit includes software and an instruction manual, and pods and mounts are available for the monitor.

• The Pulsar is not a custom tuner, it does not accept custom tunes, and the spec table lists the kit as not upgradable
• Software and an instruction manual are included, a case and an AC adapter are not
