PRODUCT DETAIL
Features:
Some days your 6.7L Power Stroke needs every bit of power it can get, and other days you just want the truck to drive normally. The Edge EZX lets you have both by giving you five power levels you can change on the fly. You can step up for a heavy trailer and step back down for the commute. Edge rates the top level at up to 60 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, and you control it all from the Edge smartphone app. The module plugs into the factory system with no cutting or splicing, and Edge says it leaves no trace when it is removed. It also protects the engine by adding no power until the coolant reaches 120 degrees and backing power down if the coolant climbs to 240 degrees. This kit pairs the module with the Insight CTS4 monitor, which puts a color touchscreen in the cab so you can see what the truck is doing as you tow. For a 2023 to 2026 Super Duty owner, it is a clean way to add power and keep an eye on the truck at the same time.
The Edge 12713-4 pairs the EZX inline performance module with the Insight CTS4 in cab monitor for 2023-2026 Ford F250, F350, and F450 trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke, and Edge says the EZX supports both standard output and high output engines. The EZX plugs into the factory system without cutting or splicing. For standard output trucks, Edge lists five power levels, from 10 horsepower and 37 lb-ft of torque at level 1 to 60 horsepower and 140 lb-ft at level 5, and the throttle booster settings inside each level can be adjusted through the app. The module adds no power until the engine coolant reaches 120 degrees, and it backs the power down at 240 degrees. The app can also read and clear trouble codes and check emissions readiness status. The Insight CTS4 is a color touchscreen monitor with an auto dimming screen, a custom background feature, and Wi-Fi updates. It provides in cab monitoring, data logging with 5 volt inputs, alerts and records, performance tests, and video capability, and it works with Edge's Expandable Accessory System. Edge states the kit is legal under the EPA's Tampering Policy dated November 23, 2020, and that it is not legal for sale or use in California.
