SMART EGT control is integrated directly into the tune, automatically managing exhaust gas temperatures when the truck is working under load. Air fuel ratio limits are also built into the calibration to help reduce soot output compared to many generic programmers. The included EFI Live AutoCal V3, also known as the SPADE device, allows simple handheld OBD flashing along with data logging for diagnostics and monitoring. There is no wire splicing or tampering with factory sensors, which keeps installation clean and the factory systems protected. The wider torque curve improves drivability across the RPM range, giving you the ability to shift up and throttle back while maintaining steady momentum. For trucks with larger tires or additional modifications, pairing this with recommended TCM tuning helps optimize shift timing and torque converter lockup for even better real world performance.
