Power increases of up to +40 rear-wheel horsepower and +72 ft-lbs of torque are delivered without driving up exhaust gas temperatures, thanks to built-in SMART EGT control. Air to fuel ratio limits are carefully managed to reduce soot and maintain clean operation under sustained load. The tune is designed to handle trailers around 8,000 pounds and beyond while keeping the engine in its optimal power band. Revised pedal mapping improves control at low speeds, eliminating the lurching that can happen with heavy trailers. The included EFI Live AutoCal V3 allows simple OBD flashing and data logging with no wiring modifications required. When paired with recommended TCM tuning, shift quality and torque converter lockup are further refined to keep power moving smoothly to the ground.
