PRODUCT DETAIL
Features:
A 6.7L Powerstroke that has gone tired or failed leaves you with a hard choice, because a brand new crate engine can be hard to justify on a truck that is already a few years old. The DFC Diesel KORE Series long block gives 2017-2019 Super Duty owners another option, a remanufactured engine built to the same standards as DFC's regular line at a price meant for a tighter budget. DFC keeps the cost down by leaving out items that can often be reused or bought easily, like the covers, oil pans, oil cooler, and rocker arms, while the rebuild itself stays serious. Every engine is machined on Rottler equipment, which gets the tolerances better than OEM specifications. Inside you get all new pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, valves, springs, hardened seats, stem seals, and cast guides, plus Total Seal gapless piston rings and improved gasket sealing in the places these engines tend to leak. The engine arrives as a short block with the cylinder heads already on and a complete top end gasket kit, so a lot of the finishing work is already covered. For an owner who wants a dependable replacement and does not need a premium build, this long block gets the truck back to work.
The DFC Diesel KORE671719LB is a remanufactured long block built for 2017-2019 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Powerstroke. DFC machines these engines on Rottler equipment to tolerances better than OEM specifications. The build includes all new pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, valves, springs, hardened seats, stem seals, and cast guides, and it comes standard with Total Seal gapless piston rings and improved gasket sealing methods in common leak areas. As a long block, it is a complete short block assembly with the cylinder heads installed, and the page lists a complete top end gasket kit, plus gaskets and silicone, to finish the install. The KORE Series leaves out items that are often reusable or easy to source, so it does not include the front cover, rear cover, oil pump, upper or lower oil pan, oil pickup tube, oil cooler, rocker arms, or pushrods. DFC highly recommends replacing the oil cooler, and calls it mandatory if the old engine had a bearing failure. It also notes that component brands may change based on parts availability at the time of each build. Every engine is built in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility and backed by a 1 year, unlimited mileage manufacturer warranty.
