Built for high-output builds and capable of supporting up to 1200 horsepower, this long block comes fully assembled from oil pan to rocker box using top-tier components throughout. It features D&J’s X-beam billet rods, a performance cam, and a CNC-machined rocker box and pedestals for precision fitment. Every block is crack-checked, blasted, cleaned, and then CNC machined for proper clearances and true surfaces. The bottom end is fitted with ARP 9/16" main and head studs, paired with a heavy-duty girdle to keep everything locked down under heavy load. Whether you’re building a sled puller, drag truck, or just want a street monster with room to grow, this engine gives you a rock-solid platform to build on.

Hand-Built Cylinder Head and Track-Proven Durability

One of the key upgrades in this build is the D&J Stage 2 High-Performance Cylinder Head. Flowing 250 CFM, it’s been 5-axis CNC ported and fitted with oversized seats, bronze valve guides, titanium retainers, and 115-pound valve springs to handle serious boost and rpm. It’s fire-ringed for maximum sealing, and the head and block are both machined to accept the custom ARP hardware. The engine comes blueprinted and balanced, with ring gaps set by hand and all oil clearances verified before assembly. You’ll also find new OEM components where it counts, including the oil pump, oil cooler, tappets, and crankshaft seals. It’s pre-lubed, ready to run break-in oil, and even includes billet soft plugs for extra durability. Whether you’re upgrading from a failed motor or building for competition, this crate engine is built to take abuse and keep coming back for more.
