You may have found out already, but the stock build of the 2011-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax does not come with a steering stabilizer. Luckily, there are mounting provisions that allow for adding one. The 2011-2019 GM 6.6L Duramax Cognito Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit is the best choice to do so because it eliminates the need for it all together. It still will provide way more benefit than other aftermarket steering stabilizers or replacement setups out there. If you still want to incorporate a steering stabilizer for extra reinforcement, you can totally do so, but you will need to use the mounts in this kit for proper installation.
