Each shock body is a single-piece 6061 aluminum cylinder, hard-anodized to resist corrosion and maximize heat dissipation. Inside, you'll find a 7/8-inch hardened chrome-plated shaft and premium 5WT red shock oil, tuned to stay stable across a wide temperature range. The external reservoirs free up space inside the shock for increased piston travel and better fluid control under pressure, especially during long or uneven terrain. This design not only helps prevent shock fade but also improves bottom-out resistance and smooths out high-speed chatter. Rubber stem bushings were chosen over poly due to their superior performance under vertical loads, reducing a common failure point in many aftermarket systems.
