Monotube Design

The 2011-2026 GM 6.6L Duramax Bilstein 4600 Series Front Shock features a monotube design with a 46mm digressive piston that when combined together creates the best performance and handling for your 2011-2026 GM 6.6L Duramax both on-and-off road. The strength of this front shock is unmatched and it is meant for GM Duramax's that have larger wheels and tires or a higher center of gravity from added lift. Along with this strength, you get superior durability that is supported by the zinc plate finish, which provides extra rust and corrosion resistance experienced from driving in harsh conditions. When you are out there get a feel for this new front shock, you will notice the reduced body roll and nose diving experienced when going over bumps and holes. When it comes to installation, you can simply reuse the factory shock mounting bolts for an easy, bolt-on installation and you can use an optional mounting plate for extra security that can be purchased separately.
