At the core of this transmission is BD’s Protect68 valve body, which features a gasketed separator plate to resolve cross-leak issues that commonly plague factory 68RFE units and lead to premature clutch failure. To further improve durability, the package includes BD’s pressure enhancer module, which raises line pressure to 220 PSI, increasing torque holding capacity.

The system is also equipped with a deep sump aluminum transmission pan, which expands fluid capacity and improves cooling efficiency. Inside, a billet spring retainer for the 4C clutch pack enhances performance under load, preventing internal component failure in demanding conditions.

Rounding out the package is the BD ProForce torque converter, engineered with a forged billet cover and upgraded stator to improve efficiency and response at lower RPMs. Whether your truck is stock or running a mild tune, this transmission package is built to keep you moving reliably and smoothly.
