This transmission comes with BD’s Protect68 kit pre-installed, addressing the most common failure points of the 68RFE: cross leaks in the valve body and inadequate line pressure. The included pressure enhancer module raises internal line pressure up to 220 PSI, boosting torque capacity without sacrificing drivability. A deep sump pan enhances oil cooling and volume, while stock clutch counts keep the build consistent with light- to moderate-use power levels.
