This Stage 4 ATS conversion kit replaces the factory Aisin AS69RC 4WD transmission with a fully built Allison 1000 6-speed automatic, delivering dramatically improved durability, smooth shifting, and long-term reliability under heavy loads and high horsepower applications.
Unlike the stock 68RFE or AS69RC, which require significant internal reinforcement to handle Cummins torque, the Allison 1000 features robust factory components—large clutch packs, gear sets, and shafts—further enhanced by ATS with billet internals.
The TRANSLator module bridges the Allison TCM and the RAM ECM seamlessly, restoring full vehicle functionality and eliminating common transmission-related electronics issues after a swap. This conversion not only improves drivability but also ensures factory systems like cruise control, rear-view camera, and remote start continue to function perfectly.
