Backed by ATS’s proprietary TRANSLator module and patent-pending cast bellhousing, this swap offers complete factory integration—restoring key functions such as cruise control, remote start, tow/haul mode, gear display, and shift range control. The TRANSLator bridges communications between the Allison TCM and RAM’s ECM and BCM, eliminating the common pitfalls of generic transmission swaps.

Unlike traditional Dodge transmissions (48RE, 68RFE, AS68RC, AS69RC) that suffer from limited torque capacity and shift quality, the Allison 1000 is factory-designed for heavy-duty use—with large clutch packs, robust shafts, and better gear splits for improved drivability.
