The ATS 303-006-2464 BilletProof Channel Plate is the ultimate fix for one of the 68RFE transmission’s most critical design flaws—warping and leakage in the factory cast channel plate. Heat stress causes the OEM plate to deform, resulting in internal cross leaks that degrade shift performance and clutch engagement.

ATS solves this with a massively upgraded billet aluminum plate, CNC-machined from a 1-inch thick aluminum tooling block. This component eliminates flex, maintains precise fluid control, and features engraved pressure testing ports to assist with diagnostics and tuning. Internal channels are enlarged for improved clutch feed rates, delivering stronger, crisper, and more consistent shifts—especially under towing or performance conditions.
