Make Getting Into Your Truck Feel Effortless

Climbing into your 2016–2017 RAM 1500 shouldn't feel like you're scaling a mountain, and with the AMP Research PowerStep, it never will again. This automatic electric-powered running board drops down the moment you open your door, giving you a solid, low step that makes getting in and out a breeze. Once your doors close, it tucks itself away neatly under the body, keeping the truck’s clean look and preserving ground clearance. It’s the kind of upgrade you never knew you needed until you use it every day. Whether you're loading kids, hauling gear, or just want a smoother step up, this system delivers comfort without compromising your truck’s rugged appeal. Plus, it keeps your exterior looking sharp without the bulky profile of fixed steps. It’s a premium touch that brings everyday convenience and style in one slick package.

Designed With Smart Engineering For Real World Use

The AMP Research 76139-01A PowerStep is more than just a convenience accessory, it’s a well-engineered solution for better truck functionality. Built specifically for the 2016–2017 RAM 1500, this system features a plug-n-play design that simplifies installation while ensuring seamless integration with your truck’s factory wiring. The running boards are made from high-strength materials and built to perform in all types of weather, with a corrosion-resistant finish that stands up to harsh road conditions. Once installed, the steps deploy automatically when the door opens, then retract when the door shuts, improving both vehicle access and aerodynamics. The system operates quietly and reliably, even in extreme cold or heat. A textured surface on the step provides secure footing whether it’s wet, snowy, or muddy. It also comes backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty, offering long-term peace of mind for daily drivers and truck enthusiasts alike. Just note, it’s not compatible with chassis cab models, and air suspension-equipped HD trucks may require an additional relocation kit.
