Built Inside To Handle Changing Terrain

Inside the BDS 85713 NX2 is a pressurized nitrogen charged twin tube design engineered to provide consistent damping across a variety of driving conditions. Its 10 stage velocity sensitive valving changes the shock response according to piston speed, allowing the suspension to react appropriately as terrain and driving inputs change. A large 1 3/8 inch fluon banded piston provides substantial working area inside the 2 inch shock body while self lubricating seals support smooth operation. BDS pairs these internal components with a 14mm hardened chrome shaft that is designed to withstand the demands placed on a lifted truck suspension. Dual welded ends add strength in critical areas, making the shock better suited for regular use on pavement as well as trips onto rougher surfaces. Additionally, the metallic silver finish provides a durable exterior coating while giving the shock the recognizable NX2 appearance.
