Built To Manage The Motion Of A Lifted Suspension

Inside the BDS 85606 NX2 is a 1 3/8 inch Fluon banded piston paired with self lubricating seals to promote smooth and consistent operation throughout the shock's travel. A hardened chrome 14mm shaft adds strength while helping resist damage from the dirt, debris, and harsh conditions commonly encountered underneath a truck. The shock measures 13.37 inches compressed and 22.18 inches extended, providing 8.81 inches of total travel for its intended lifted suspension application. Its upper S50 stem mount and lower EB1 eyelet mount provide the mounting configuration specified for compatible applications. Dual welded ends reinforce the shock at critical connection points, adding durability for trucks that regularly encounter uneven roads and demanding terrain. Since the damping is not externally adjustable, the vehicle specific internal valving handles shock response without requiring the driver to dial in separate settings.
