The replacement guard is manufactured from 1/8 inch aluminum plate, providing a more rigid structure than the factory plastic component. Each piece is CNC laser cut to achieve precise dimensions before being brake formed into its final shape. This construction creates the clearance needed for proper sway bar movement while avoiding the need to trim the original guard. A semi gloss black powder coat finish protects the aluminum and provides a durable surface for use underneath the truck.
