6 inch Lift Kit with NX2 Nitro Shocks & Leaf Springs - Aluminum

The BDS 6-inch lift kit is an amazing upgrade for your 2014-2018 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 that will leave others in envy. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 35" tires. This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on-road handling characteristics. Up front, the kit utilizes full length replacement strut shocks, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers along with a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles. These combined with the provided sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, CV spacers, supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it. In the rear BDS offers both replacement lift block and full Glide-Ride leaf spring options to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also for the rear are new u-bolts, brake line brackets and precision tuned NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks.

High Clearance Crossmembers

BDS maximizes ground clearance with their heavy duty 1/4-inch thick laser cut perfect fit crossmembers. Paired with a front skid plate system that bolts together to create a rigid subframe while adding extra protection.

Heavy Duty Steering Knuckles

BDS corrects steering geometry at the new taller ride height using a pair of high-strength, CNC machined ductile cast iron steering knuckle design to work with factory tie rod ends to maintain steering angles for proper function and ESC compatibility.

Factory Control Arm Type

GM is producing several knuckle/control arm configurations in 2014-2018 models trucks. Cast Steel control arm equipped models will require the "Cast Steel Control Arm" kit. Stamped Steel and Aluminum control arm equipped models will require the "Aluminum Control Arm" kit. Be sure to verify which factory control arms your truck has before ordering by referencing the help images in each tab below.

Important Notes

1. Strut compressor required
2. Requires frame bracket modification
3. Requires differential modification to clear electric power steering
4. Factory 17" and 18" wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference
5. If choosing the 5" rear block option, add-a-leaf # 111209 is recommended for a more level/tail high stance on crew cab models.
6. All wheel drive models require drive line modification.
