There is more behind this 2 inch lift than simply placing a spacer above the front coils, which is why BDS pairs the height increase with components selected for the RAM 3500 suspension. The fabricated steel coil spacers establish the new front ride height, while extended bump stops are included to complement the revised suspension configuration. NX2 Nitro Series shocks feature a nitrogen charged twin tube design along with vehicle specific tuning for more controlled suspension response. Their 10 stage velocity sensitive valving changes damping behavior according to shock movement, allowing the suspension to respond appropriately as road conditions and driving inputs vary. Each shock also uses a 1 3/8 inch high flow piston and self lubricating seals to support smooth and consistent operation. Dual welded ends add strength to the shock construction, while the silver powder coat finish helps protect the exterior during regular use.
