The ICON 67710P 2.5 inch VS Piggyback Reservoir Front Shocks give 2005-2022 Ford F250 and F350 4WD owners a suspension upgrade built around the demands of a lifted truck. ICON tunes the shock length and damping specifically for the intended application, helping the front suspension feel composed on everyday pavement while staying controlled when the terrain gets rough. When a hard compression pushes the suspension toward the end of its travel, the internal Bump Zone adds 20 percent more damping force to help soften harsh bottom outs and keep movement under control. Piggyback reservoirs also help dissipate heat during extended periods of suspension activity, which is especially useful on long stretches of washboard road or repeated rough terrain. Aluminum shock bodies provide excellent corrosion resistance, while the fully rebuildable and revalveable construction gives you the opportunity to service or retune the shocks instead of treating them as disposable components. Serious Components Manage Every Compression

ICON builds the 67710P around a nitrogen charged monotube architecture with a one piece digressive piston that works with vehicle specific valving to manage suspension movement. Premium grade 5WT shock oil maintains consistent damping across a broad temperature range, helping the shocks perform predictably as operating conditions change. Each shock uses an impact extruded aluminum cylinder along with CNC machined 6061 aircraft grade aluminum components for corrosion resistance and dependable structural performance. A 7/8 inch induction hardened chrome plated shaft handles repeated cycling, while PTFE lined spherical bearings provide durable connection points with minimal unwanted movement. The integrated piggyback reservoir increases fluid capacity and improves heat dissipation, helping reduce shock fade when the suspension is working continuously. Fitment supports 4.5 inches of front lift on 2005-2019 trucks and 2020-2022 models without the Tremor package, while Tremor equipped 2020-2022 trucks use these shocks with 3.5 inches of front lift. Additionally, the shocks can be upgraded with ICON Compression Damping Control Valve technology and may also serve as secondary shocks in the factory location when used with compatible ICON 4 to 5.5 inch coilover conversions.
