The included drop pitman arm helps keep the steering drag link and track bar working together, which addresses the bump steer that can occur when their angles no longer match. Sway bar drop brackets also restore a more appropriate operating angle and help prevent binding as the suspension moves through its travel. Even the steering stabilizer is accounted for with a dedicated drop bracket that maintains compatibility with a stock replacement stabilizer shock. Corrected Geometry Starts With The Right Hardware

The ICON 67020 Front Box Kit uses application specific components to address the steering and suspension geometry changes created by an ICON 7 inch lift on 2008-2010 Ford Super Duty 4WD models. At the center of the package is a front track bar drop bracket fabricated from CNC laser cut and brake formed .25 inch steel plate, which helps establish proper track bar angle and axle placement. A 4 inch drop pitman arm corrects steering geometry by bringing the drag link into better alignment with the relocated track bar. This relationship is important because keeping the drag link and track bar parallel helps eliminate bump steer caused by mismatched operating angles. ICON also includes a fabricated steering stabilizer drop bracket that allows a stock replacement stabilizer shock to mount to the drag link while remaining compatible with the drop pitman arm. Front sway bar drop brackets prevent binding throughout suspension travel, while CNC machined aluminum bump stop spacers provide another supporting piece for the lifted configuration. The system installs using included hardware, and its fabricated components receive a corrosion resistant semi gloss black powder coat finish backed by ICON's Limited Lifetime Warranty.
